Flap Valve Manufacturing

Flap Valve Manufacturing

Flap valve manufacturing is a product designed for controlling airflow, balancing airspeed, and pressure regulation in industrial ventilation systems. Valves made from polypropylene, polyethylene, and PVC materials are non-metallic, especially in environments where acid vapors and chemical fumes are transported. They do not cause mechanical failures and can operate for several years.

Our grommets can be designed to be cylindrical or prismatic, directly pipe-connected, or double-flanged according to your needs. The flow rate can be manually adjusted with a damper arm and automatic electric steering system. Thanks to our custom production, they can be manufactured in any size and pressure class.

How is Flap Valve Used?

In cement factories and industrial plants, various silencers and dampers are designed to increase, decrease, regulate, or completely shut off the gas flow in overhead lines. In such processes, plastic-type valves like polypropylene and polyethylene are also used.

We produce equipment suitable for your processes using our knowledge and expertise. Air dampers (valves) are flanged on both sides. Alternatively, they can also be directly connected to the pipe. The flow rate can be adjusted according to the project using a damper arm or servo motor. Production can be done in the required dimensions and pressure classes according to your projects.

What is a Directional Valve? Why is it Used?

Directional valves are used to send powdered materials from one point to different points, especially in the food, plastic, pharmaceutical, and chemical sectors. Our pneumatic directional valves are made from stainless AISI 30 inox, aluminum casting, steel casting, Biz-Sert standard types ranging from 60.3mm to 220mm. Larger directional valves are also produced, and design services are offered for individual projects. Pneumatic directional valve models are designed for internal pressures up to 2 bar. These valves are typically used only in pneumatic blowers and high-pressure transmission systems. They can also be activated while the fan is operating.

Multi-Hole Flap Valve Manufacturing

Multi-hole flap valve manufacturing is a two-way valve switching valve used in the pneumatic transfer of powder, granules, or granular materials, i.e., all solid and liquid substances. It ensures minimal pressure loss and high sealing efficiency while transferring substances from one direction to another. Directional valves are suitable for transporting free-flowing products, both abrasive and non-abrasive, and differ based on the process condition.

The body options include materials like AlMg3, C1050, and 2CrMo. These valves can operate under excessive pressure up to 2 bar and negative pressure down to -0.5 bar, and are easy to maintain in pneumatic transport systems. The wing-type directional valve can be used in almost all industries with pneumatic transport, especially for lightweight abrasive powders or granular materials.

What is a Footed Pneumatic Flap Valve?

Unlike valve-type directional valves, a footed pneumatic flap valve operates like an opening and closing sliding valve. It is suitable only for processes using the same type of raw material. Depending on the type of flap valve manufacturing, it offers the advantage of a longer service life. However, its disadvantage is that due to the design of the system, it holds a certain amount of product according to its diameter. Some solutions can be made according to all DN standards regarding sizes.

What is a Multi-Port Flap Valve?

Multi-port flap valve manufacturing is used when multiple two-way electric valves are insufficient for pneumatic power gas applications, automation, and ease of operation and monitoring. It operates on the principle of side roads diverging from the highway. The only disadvantage of multi-port applications is that more pipes are needed when the process continues in the same direction, but both types have different applications. Solutions can be developed for single-entry valves with 6, 8, 10, 12, 16... outputs, and they can be customized to fit AISI 30, 76.1mm, 200mm, and DN standard pipes. Multi-port valves are actively used in the fishing industry and are commonly used as check valves. A multi-port valve cannot be used under pressure as its operation is slower than other three-way valves.

What are Pants Valves? How are They Devices?

Pants valve manufacturing is widely used to control the mechanical movement of dry solid liquids in atmospheric processes. They are used in three forms: manual, pneumatic, and motorized. All products are position-switchable and operate according to the PLC automation system. Bearing systems have a bearing structure and are easy to maintain due to their simple maintenance design.

Due to their sealing properties, it is not recommended to use them in pressurized pipe systems. They are produced according to DIN standards for pipes. The production program also includes a square structure specifically designed for the process. They have FDA-approved food-grade silicone and polyurethane seal options. The overall structure of the product is square, and a reduction to a round shape is achieved with a transition.
